Mt.Barker United Soccer Club was incorporated in March 1982. All the club’s committee members and players are volunteers.
Our mission is to promote and foster the game of football (soccer) in the district. In doing so the club hopes to enable all players to develop their skills & ability in a structured and caring environment.
The club currently fields over 22 teams with over 380 players ranging from under 8 through to our senior teams. Competing in and around a broad geographical area including the Adelaide hills, Strathalbyn, Murray Bridge and Adelaide just to name a few!
The AMAZING Summit Sport and Recreation Park is the club’s official home. With two synthetic pitches,, four changerooms (female friendly), fully lit, Bar/Canteen facilities as well as a function area which opens onto a grandstand for pitch 1 and viewing windows for pitch 2, it is the envy of everyone in the hills!
The club ventured into uncharted territory in 2016, fielding 3 teams in the FFSA State League 2. The addition was also followed by the re-introduction of teams into the Junior Premier League with an U12 and U15 team as well as miniroos.
In 2021 the club will field 2 senior women’s teams for the first time, looking to grow female participation in the sport.
